    Job Description

    THE OPPORTUNITY: 

    Mattel’s direct-to-consumer business has an ambitious growth agenda and is on the journey to scaling into a global organization.  

    As a Digital Marketing Lead within the DTC organization, you will be responsible for the management of the global customer relationship management (CRM) program including e-mail, loyalty, membership, and retention marketing. This role will maximize customer lifetime value by increasing trips, engagement, and spend across our Mattel digital platforms. The role is data-driven and customer-obsessed in how they approach solutions and deliver experiences.

    You will work closely with Digital Merchandising and Data and Analytics to create customer-obsessed data-driven marketing plans. You will also partner with Global Marketing teams to leverage consumer data and insights to inform the broader marketing strategy and execution.

    WHAT YOUR IMPACT WILL BE: 

    DIGITAL RETENTION MARKETING:

    • Guide the global CRM strategy, foundation, and roadmap
    • Develop and execute full-funnel email marketing program, establishing, monitoring, and reporting
    • Evolve the membership and loyalty program and extend to new audiences; establish loyalty measures and milestones
    • Design digital/CRM strategies and martech roadmap inclusive of data capture and activation workflow across the customer journey

    SET AND STANDARDIZE ONGOING REPORTING & METRICS

    • Develop customer lifetime value model
    • Create key retention metrics and email performance reporting and share insights with broader DTC and e-commerce teams to drive action
  • Qualifications

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 

    • 7+ years in a senior Digital Marketing role or similar experience is required 
    • Prior experience within a direct-to-consumer retail and multi-brand environment is required 
    • Strong understanding of CRM, Email and Loyalty across a multi-brand portfolio and at a global scale
    • Solid understanding of available CRM tools and platforms
    • Ability to build partnerships and influence without authority across cross-functional teams 
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and EQ
