    Job Description

    THE OPPORTUNITY: 

    The Vice President of Global Creative Strategy & Development is a newly created role responsible for all aspects of creative development and brand integrity across our extensive portfolio of content & toy led brands.  This role will establish, create & set the strategic creative direction in partnership with our Consumer Products and Global Brand Team leadership. This role will be a key member of the leadership team and report directly to the SVP of Consumer Products and Franchise Marketing.

    WHAT YOUR IMPACT WILL BE: 

    •    Manage creative strategy and process from concept to completion •    Deep understanding of market trends; with emphasis on fashion •    Drive the creative process as a thought leader and business partner •    Collaborate with internal stakeholders; using clear and effective communication  •    Management of large Creative Services / Brand Integrity teams (remote, ES & UK) •    Oversight of Style Guide Development across multiple brands •    Provide guidance and mentorship to members of the team •    Ensure deliverables are met, timelines are set, and budgets are in line and accurate •    Review teams work, troubleshoot to find solutions for challenges encountered •    Provide clear and comprehensive direction to the creative leads •    Set and maintain exceptional brand standards •    Facilitate the conceptual framework for all projects •    Manage CP/Franchise related initiatives; naming architectures, design systems, and brand guidelines  •    Oversee creative development of effective and comprehensive sales materials

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 

    •    15+ years of related or similar experience, including agency-side experience •    Experience in fashion apparel; design and/or product development •    Experience leading a large creative team and interacting with C-Suite executives •    Demonstrated ability to create compelling and effective materials including style guides & sales collateral

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    •    Equally balanced creative and business manager •    Ability to direct large creative projects •    Project management from concept to timely delivery •    Oversight of innovative style guide development •    Deliver comprehensive style guides that lead to successful commercial programs •    Strong knowledge and understanding of apparel construction  •    Excellent communications skills, with ability to present concepts in a persuasive manner.  •    Demonstrated success at leading large creatively driven teams •    Strong and experienced in leadership with executive presence  •    Solid understanding of product and retail cycles.  •    Broad knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes  •    Proven ability to design for different consumers and end users; specifically kids and young adults
