    Job Description

    The Opportunity:

    Mattel is currently seeking a Senior Manager IT for Global Supply Chain (GSC) Product Development Systems. This position drives system and process alignment for planning at Mattel by evaluating systems and processes and driving system and process improvements. This role supports Global Supply Chain Planning for system (platform and data) related improvements. The role will report to the Supply chain VP Global Technology Organization and/or Sr Director of Global Technology (GTO), Supply Chain Logistics Planning and Product Development with dotted line to the SVP and VP, Product Development

    Remote candidates are required to travel 25 -50% (once or twice a month). Relocation to Corporate in El Segundo, CA or East Aurora, NY is preferred. For local candidates, onsite presence is needed unless approved by manager.

    What Your Impact Will Be:

    ** Business Continuity**

    Drive Product Development System & Process Alignment

    • Ensure proper processes and document requirements are being followed
    • Engages in rigorous root cause analysis, problem solving and solution implementations.
    • Support Product Development by maintaining and updating systems and data used. Systems include but not limited to Agile PLM, PTC Windchill, Adobe Workfront
    • Identify, vet, review with leadership, and implement process improvements

    Support Global IT as Product Development Data Analytics and Platforms point of Contact

    • Work with GTO teams to provide timely and accurate data by improving process and technology
    • Identify and address IT issues for Product Development as key point of contact and optimize infrastructure, hardware, software and processes, in close partnership with the GSC business team and driving GTO dependencies

    ** New Capability Deployment**

    • Lead assessment of current Product Development landscape and work with partners to recommend longer term roadmap, and strategy
    • Primary conduit to Product Development business leadership and personnel in technology modernization initiatives across all phases of the project lifecycle (analysis, design, build, test, deploy)
    • Responsible for working with the business team to gather detailed requirements and processes
    • Applying leading practices to requirements and processes and facilitating the development of to-be processes to be deployed on the modernized platform which effectively support Mattel’s Product Development operations characteristics.
    • Advance the use of analytics to make data informed decisions to further optimize our supply chain
  • Qualifications

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in computer science, information systems or equivalent years of experience.
    • 15 years related experience in Product Development and CPG/Fast Fashion/Toy industry
    • Knowledge and experience with deploying operating systems, applications, patch management and desired configurations
    • Skilled in data and analytics with superior skills in enabling business and IT teams to leverage data in a timely and accurate manner
    • Skilled in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and related technologies for Retail/CPG/Similar
    • Expert understanding of various modern technology platforms that support Product Development in the B2B and D2C CPG, fashion, and/or retail industries.
    • Expert program management skills including the ability to effectively integrate and manage competing resources.
    • Expert relationship management/networking skills.
    • Expert verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated expertise with negotiating conflicts
    • Expert leadership skills; prior management experience within supply chain technology.
    • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
    • The annual base salary range for this position is between $125,000 and $155,000 **This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
