Qualifications
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- At least 2 years’ experience within a corporate or agency environment as a writer
- advertising experience in an agency setting preferred
- attended an ad school or strong conceptual portfolio. Writing samples showing long and short form copy.
- Your portfolio should show a range of integrated campaign work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to juggle several projects at one time
- collaborative, problem-solver who can take direction well
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Computer literacy with strong proficiency in all relevant programs: Microsoft Office/Word, Google Slides, etc.
- Research, checking facts, proofreading, and asking for help when you need it.
- Concepts and copy that align strategically with the brand and brief, including messaging, voice and tone.
- The ability to write engaging, persuasive copy that speaks to different audiences.
- Computer proficiency; knowledge of MS Word, Teams, Google Slide
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Excellent decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team cooperation
- Versed and on-top of current trends (art, pop culture, design & typography, advertising, social media, digital, entertainment, etc.)
- Demonstrate ability to translate core branding equities and tone through a variety marketing activations
- Tapped into global youth-oriented design, marketing campaigns and trends
