    Job Description

    The Opportunity:
    The Dolls Packaging and Omnichannel Creative team is a group of passionate and inspired designers with the goal of creating outstanding packaging and creative assets for the best toys on earth! The Packaging Designer will focus on creating new and innovative packaging, utilizing research, and understanding consumer trends and the ever-changing retail landscape.

    What Your Impact Will Be:

    The Business

    • You have an understanding of the packaging development process

      • Understand the value of ideation sketches, rough concepts, proof of concept and production
      • Have a basic understanding of the toy industry, especially the dolls category
    • You are a strategic design thinker:

      • Able to understand strategy and execute on the design vision
      • Bring a fresh POV with innovative design thinking
      • Able to create visual design language and communication
    • You are a good communicator:

      • Able to clearly present ideas
      • Effectively communicate product strategy and features through package design and communication
      • Partner with E-comm, Marketing and Brand teams to help create assets for an omnichannel approach to brand engagement
      • Ability to receive feedback and respond with POV and action plans
    • You are a collaborator:

    • Work with copywriters & engineers to create cohesive packaging/branding

    • Partner with product design & marketing counterparts to ensure package delivers on strategy

    • Nimble Multi-tasker:

      • Able to pivot on projects and strategy when business necessitates
      • Can handle multiple projects in various stages of development while staying on track of schedules
      • Can maximize your global design team and internal/external resources
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    What We’re Looking For:

    • 1-3 years experience in Graphic Design or similar field
    • Self-motivated, creative thinker with a passion for learning
    • Ability to understand strategy, insights, and trends to inform design decisions
    • A creative problem-solver and solution-seeker
    • A collaborative and communicative team player who enjoys branding and creative vision
    • Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts
    • Eagar to learn from others and accept constructive feedback
    • Excellent computer skills: Adobe Suite and relevant design rendering and presentation software

    The annual base salary range for this position is between 52,400-92,000.00.
    **This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
