    Job Description

    The Opportunity:

    Mattel Inc. is seeking a Development & Production Coordinator to join our Mattel Films Team in El Segundo, California.

    What Your Impact Will Be:

    • The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the feature film productions run smoothly and that internal and external participants are receiving the information and support they need.
    • The Development Coordinator will set-up meetings, manage assets, help the Mattel Films Producers with vendor management, attend creative meetings and manage follow-up as well as ensure the approvals process runs smoothly.
    • Asset Retention: Manage archiving and retrieval of all materials and assets for productions.
    • Mattel Films Research and Presentations: Research and assistance with presentations to be conducted on an as-needed basis.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Theater Arts, or related field highly preferred
    • At least 2 years’ experience in theatrical/feature film production required
    • Solid interpersonal, organizational, teamwork, multi-tasking, communication, and presentation skills
    • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
    • The candidate also must have the ability to be detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
    • The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

    Hourly:
    The base hourly rate for this position is between $31.60 and $39.50.
    **This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
