    Job Description

    The Opportunity:

    The Digital Operations Associate Manager role sits within an evolving El Segundo based Ecommerce team and reports into a Sr. Manager. As the Ecommerce Operations Associate Manager, you will be a strategic partner to lead product catalog merchandising strategy, governance, and syndication via product management and CMS tools to facilitate growth across global, Mattel-owned sites.

    What Your Impact Will Be:

    • Support Sr. Ecommerce Operations Manager in achieving annual goals with an emphasis on site and product authoring for multiple global Mattel Creations and Mattel Shop sites.
    • Liaison with regional digital merchandising, production, and supply chain partners to align on priorities and deliver global consistency across launch timelines and various selling models.
    • Serve as expert for Mattel Creations Mattel Shop sites authoring and all relevant inputs from workflow optimizations, translation process, technology expertise, data fidelity, and governance.
    • Deliver against AB testing priorities to further Mattel’s PDP content strategy along with education and compliance across the organization.
    • Continuously define and deploy operational efficiencies to support key business objectives and automation with a global to local mindset.
    • Serve as flexible resource for production team when relevant

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
    • Minimum of 4 years work experience, preferably in Online Retail or ecommerce/DTC
    • Must have experience in web merchandising at mass retailer or DTC
    • Must have experience within a customer-driven retail organization
    • Experience in the toy industry is a plus
    • Strong technical skills with experience in data asset management, CMS, and ecommerce platforms such as Salsify, Contentstack and Shopify at global scale
    • Experience in digital shelf and merchandising tactics, standards, and optimizations across various global sites
    • Proven ability to leverage complex data sets to drive product health insights to action and create reporting from data
    • Outstanding product management and attention to detail
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat (experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus)
    • Flexible and adaptive to new environments, with proven track record in dealing with various business stakeholders and of effective coordination of multiple projects in a dynamic environment
    • Experience with external vendor management or partnership is a plus

    **The annual base salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $125,000.
    This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
