    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other commonly used business software; comfortable learning and developing proficiency with other software.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or related field.
    • Energetic and proactive; able to think and work autonomously, but not tentative about asking for help with needed.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information in a professional and confidential manner.
    • Excellent writing, proofreading skills and communication skills.
    • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Attention to detail and ability to identify and mitigate project risks.

    The following qualifications are also highly preferred:

    • Marketing and/or graphic design knowledge.
    • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or related role.
    • Familiarity with LinkedIn and Wordpress.
    • Eligibility to become a notary.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Communications & Project Coordinator position is an opportunity to be exposed to many operational aspects of Matter's work while managing the firm's needs related to meeting preparation & scheduling, internal & external communication, and special projects (with an emphasis on communications, culture, marketing, and firm initiatives). This includes the following responsibilities:

    • Provide execution support on tasks and projects related to Committee Lead responsibilities as assigned.
    • Maintain project documentation, status reports and meeting minutes.
    • Set meetings, conferences, and reminders for Firmwide events.
    • Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and meet the quality standards established.
    • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and communication of projects and firmwide events.
    • Work with leadership team to prepare, edit and distribute internal and external communications via various distribution methods.
    • Assist with marketing related and All Staff events.
