Job Description

The base salary for this position is $17.33 hourly.

Join our team as Banquet Houseperson and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for bringing events to life through the set-up and breakdown of banquet functions. This individual will work closely with a team of banquet professionals to ensure each event is efficiently and effectively ready in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be naturally accommodating, self motivated, kind, and professional. He or she will thrive in a fast paced, high volume work environment. Previous banquet porter experience is preferred.

• Ensure checking in and checking out everyday with department leader for all daily duties and responsibilities.
• Ensure phone lines, a/v requirements, a/c are on 1 hour prior to every function.
• Ensure floors are swept and clean, lights on, trash bins are empty 2 hours prior to every function.
• Ensure work tasks are completed on time and that they meet appropriate quality standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by manager /supervisors.
• Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
• Assist other team members to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
• Previous banquet experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain tuberculosis clearance.
