Job Description

The base salary range for this position is $80K to $105K.

Our Leisure Sales Manager will focus on representing Mauna Lani to the luxury travel industry. He or she will be responsible for identifying and sourcing leisure and transient business in accordance with the resort's strategic plan to maximize room revenue during peak and non-peak periods. The ideal candidate is located in California, outgoing, well organized, displays excellent communication skills and is an expert in business development (uncovering new accounts and opportunities). This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and works closely with the revenue team to ensure that the leisure and transient sales strategy is in line with the property's business needs.

• Four year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years sales experience in a related position in a luxury hotel sales environment.
• Demonstrated record of driving sales revenues in luxury hotel environments.
• Strong ability to uncover new accounts and/or grow existing business opportunities.
• Based in a major city in California.

Qualifications

• Prior experience selling a luxury resort - branded or independent.
• Prior experience working in a remote sales office setting.
• Prior experience working with professional organizations that support the leisure / travel industry.
• Prior experience working with Opera PMS.
• A very strong existing client base.
