DESCRIPTION

We are an established and growing printing and creative fabrication company in the Garland, Texas area. This position focuses on operating our flatbed and roll-to-roll printers. Our print operators are part of the quality control process in our company and each one needs to have a keen eye for color, size, format, material specifications, etc. It requires a very organized and detailed minded individual.

Required skills include strong background with RIP software and flatbed machines. Must be willing to be crossed-trained and work on the finishing side. Experience with RIP software preferred (e.g. Onyx/Fiery/Caldera/etc). Individual needs to be self-motivated and work well with others. Must have a positive attitude even under stressful work-related circumstances. Learn to run all machines and equipment

1st and 2nd shift positions are open immediately and we are hiring based on past experience and willingness to take on additional responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow internal work orders to print for each job

• Know the different methods to reduce banding and correct machine alignment

• Process jobs by importing the file into the RIP software

• QC the order for printing errors and potential kitting errors

• Cross-train on other cutters and the finishing department

• Assist in finishing areas when necessary

• 1st shift, 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday plus after hours work on larger projects

• 2nd shift, 3pm-12am, Monday - Friday plus after hours work on larger projects REQUIREMENTS

• previous experience as a print operator is a must

• experience dealing with large clients and multiple accounts in a large printing company is a plus

• Be willing to work on a team and train other individuals

• Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed in the warehouse
