Overview:

Maverick is seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager & Executive Assistant. This hybrid/flex role combines marketing prowess with executive support, ideal for someone who thrives in managing diverse responsibilities. You will play a crucial role in driving our social media strategy and content production, while also providing comprehensive support to our CEO and Strategic Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media / Marketing Management:

• Develop and implement social media strategies for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee the production of engaging content, including posts, videos, and email campaigns.
• Monitor and report on social media performance, adjusting strategies as needed to improve engagement and reach.
• Collaborate with the Strategic Director on marketing initiatives, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with overall objectives.

Executive Assistance:

• Manage and prioritize the CEO's email inbox, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups on important communications.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including accommodations, flights, and transportation, ensuring seamless plans for the CEO.
• Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and liaising with clients when necessary.
• Assist in project management and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and professional design/editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Final Cut, Premiere Pro).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in content creation and social media management preferred.
• Video filming and editing skills are a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in content marketing, sales, or a related role highly desirable.
• Previous experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative support role advantageous.
