THE OPPORTUNITY:

Maverick Real Estate Partners LLC (“Maverick”) is seeking an Analyst to join its Investments Team. Reporting to the Director of Investments, this successful candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing and underwriting new investments. All new hires participate in Maverick’s intensive training program. 

Founded in 2010, Maverick is a registered investment advisor with over $450 million in assets under management and invests through its discretionary private equity fund vehicles. Maverick acquires distressed commercial mortgages secured by real estate in New York City.  Maverick's mission is to provide its team members with the satisfaction of building a world class alternative investment manager in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Source new investments utilizing proprietary data analytics and relationships
• Build financial models, study local market, and write investment memoranda
• Analyze legal provisions in loan documents in concert with legal team
• Negotiate transaction terms and facilitate closing
• Innovate and improve Maverick’s data management system and CRM
