    JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a strong and experienced Senior Software QA Analyst to build out the health data management platform. You're ready to take on the opportunity of being our first QA hire — establishing better testing and QA practices across the whole organization!

    • Raising the quality bar in scrum teams by early testing via manual or automation process
    • Play a key role in the visibility of testing during each sprint and provide transparency on results.
    • Work with the team to raise the bar of quality of each user story(ies) to improve the satisfaction of our internal and external end users.
    • Building out automation framework that will help streamline our existing testing
    • The ideal candidate should be a natural leader who drives team accountability and results with positivity, transparency, and strong team collaboration.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Deep understanding of software testing, its main concepts and processes
    • Critical thinking and analytical skills to examine bug reports and prioritize necessary tests
    • Great communication and teamwork skills to interact with peers and other stakeholders
    • Work directly with development team to QA new features
    • Perform User Acceptance Testing Test cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility of user interfaces
    • Serve as primary contact for software Help Desk issues
    • Triage trouble tickets and drive issues to successful resolution
    • Confirm reported defects
    • Create accurate, concise and reproducible bug reports when needed
    • Educate users on basic, knowledgebase functions of software
    • Maintain accurate documentation on processes and solutions including helpdesk scripts

    DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of three (3) years software QA experience, preferably with large enterprise applications for a complex domain, ideally in healthcare
    • Knowledge of software development lifecycle best practices, Agile/Scrum methodologies
    • Strong proficiency and ability to troubleshoot issues
    • Experience in the healthcare industry
