Max & Erma's at the Holiday Inn/Roberts Centre in Wilmington is looking for exceptional Line Cooks to join our team. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years previous line cook experience in a high volume casual dining restaurant (fast food experience not included). We are looking for a skilled cook who is dependable, can follow recipes, and has a commitment to consistency and producing a quality product.

New hires in this position will receive $250 sign on bonus:

Applicant must not have been employed by CHM previously in the past 12 months or worked at a Columbus Hospitality Management property through a temp agency or related program in the past 12 months.

$125 paid after 30 days of successful employment.

$125 paid after 90 days of successful employment.

All bonuses contingent upon perfect attendance and adherence to company policy.

Our attractive compensation package includes $10.00-$12.25 per hour starting wage (commensurate with experience), medical, dental, Life, 401k with match, vacation, PTO after 90 days , dining and travel discounts, special offers from our business partners, and discount programs for selected cell phone providers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Confers with manager on duty about prep list to determine requirements of the day.

Follows company recipes and procedures when preparing or cooking food.

Works in a clean, efficient and organized manner.

Audits guest checks to be certain all food items are rung up properly.

Maintains a high standard of hygiene and appearance.

Helps to control costs and waste.

Observes good sanitation and safety procedures.

Maintains sense of ownership in respect to kitchen equipment.

Works effectively and professionally with other departments of the restaurant.

Assists in opening/ closing duties and clean-up work as required.

Adheres to policies as set forth in associate handbook and department manuals.

Other duties as assigned.
