    Coastal Home Care is seeking Caregivers/CNAs/PCAs in the Chatham & Effingham county area to work one-on-one with individuals in their home and community setting. Seeking outgoing community support providers that enjoy recreational activities, improving the life of others, and love watching/playing sports. Our caregivers provide assistance to individuals with:

    • Bathing, grooming & dressing
    • Meal preparation & medication reminders
    • Light housekeeping & errand running
    • Community involvement & continuing education
    • Hoyer lift experience a plus

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • The Caregiver must have one of the following: Georgia CNA certification or successful completion of the state PCA competency exam (we can administer this assessment)
    • The Caregiver will be required to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of being hired
    • Negative TB screening (we can provide)

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

    MAP 110, 120, 138, 140, 150,183,189

    • A related Associates (or relevant current industry license or certification) and 4000 verified occupational/industry hours within 5 years;
    • OR, a related Bachelor's or any Master's degree with 18 discipline related credits and 4000 verified occupational/industry hours within 5 years.

    RELATED DEGREE, CREDENTIAL, AND/OR OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Health Care Administration degree, Certified billing and coding specialist, 1 year of previous work as a health care office manager, health care supervisor, or owner/operator of a health care facility, or holds, have held/or is eligible to hold one of the following credentials: Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA), Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA-C), Medical Doctor (MD), Certified Nurse Midwife, Registered Nurse (RN), Limited Practice Nurse (LPN).
