Maxana seeks to hire a Business Analyst

We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative person who can work with all levels of the organization. This position will require: · Collaborate with diverse teams to develop, organize, and execute cross-functional plans for delivering tools / systems / integrations that drive growth.

· Balance business needs versus technical constraints. Assertively hold all parties accountable to strategic goals.

· Work with our Directors, Business Leads and Product Managers to coordinate all effort, track/drive the project, and manage the operational implementation process. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs; encourage smart risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit; identify interdependencies between concurrent projects to prevent downstream problems.

· Understand requirements from Business Leads and Product Managers and guide us towards implementing functionality that will help us meet our strategic goals and compliance obligations.

· Work with the product managers to launch these projects and provide ongoing support as appropriate.

· Coordinate meetings with stakeholders and provide updates.

· Assess incoming feature requests and work all teams to determine level of effort.

· Own progress tracking and reporting on all workstreams. Facilitate meetings and effectively communicate project expectations and deadlines to team members and stakeholders.

· Set and manage expectations around work that is required to launch and maintain key revenue programs through exceptional communication, kick off meetings and consistent on-time deliverables

· Strategically and tactfully communicate deliverables, red flags and accountability for next steps with thoughtful timelines, to internal and external stakeholders

· Understand the tech requirements needed to support delivery of functional and non-functional requirements

· Ability to comprehend and solve technical issues

· Ability to participate and contribute to architecture and design sessions

· General understanding of cloud infrastructure

· Proven experience in managing large scale enterprise projects and writing specifications

· Possess a thorough understanding of software processes (development, configuration, testing, and deployment)

· Demonstrate maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, leadership skills essential to successful program/project management

· Possess a thorough understanding of software processes (development, configuration, testing, and deployment)

· Outstanding communication skills

· Ability to maintain calm under pressure

· Ability to gracefully juggle multiple programs at once

Minimum Requirements:

· 3+ years of code development experience

· 3+ years of experience leading large, cross-functional technical projects

· Proven track record of developing and refining process

· Banking experience is a plus

Compensation

$120,000 - $150,000

Hours/Shift (FULLY REMOTE)

Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm PST

Minimum Qualifications Requirements

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics or related field and six years of satisfactory full-time experience.

Preferred Skills

10+ years of overall working experience, with 5+ years of relevant experience performing complex business analytics and data mining with strong ability to present complex data to business and financial stakeholders

Very strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis with at least 5 years utilizing SQL scripting for complex business analytics and business intelligence presentation tools.

Strong abilities with ETL and utilizing big data.

Strong abilities with Tableau and other reporting capabilities such as PowerBI.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis

Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis

Being able to communicate concisely supporting the analytics created with solid support and validation
