Our car dealership team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software, and their electrical systems expertise. Responsibilities: • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes • Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more • Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach • When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes • Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction • Conduct Diagnostics and repairs on Diesel makes and model vehicles. Qualifications: • Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary • High school diploma or GED is required • Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal • Automotive Service Excellence /ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers /SAE certification is preferred Compensation: $1,000 to $3,000 per week
