    Job Description

    TYPE: FULL TIME 

    Compensation: Starting $18-$20/Hr., DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE AND AVAILABILITY

    The residential caregiver provides individualized quality care in the home to adult and geriatric clients in an environment which promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice; implements programs and services as specified in the client’s individualized service plan; completes accurately all reports, data collection and other information documenting the care and services provided. ONE ON ONE IN-HOME CARE AND GROUP HOME SETTINGS AVAILABLE. MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR OVERNIGHT SHIFTS, WEEKEND AVAILABILITY PREFERRED, POTENTIAL FOR WEEK NIGHT SHIFTS.

    DUTIES VARY BASED ON CLIENT.

    • Be responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming, feeding, light housekeeping, and diaper changes
    • Safety supervision at all times
    • Giving patients important social and emotional support
    • Maintains confidentiality of all client information, in accordance with HIPAA standards
    • Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions
    • Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
    • Represents the Company with a positive image at all times
    • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of all clients
    • Effectively communicates with the office staff, including availability to work
    • Adheres to time and attendance policies
    • Provides requirements-related information (Annual PPD, In-services, etc.) in a timely fashion; follows all other compliance standards at all times

     

    Qualifications

    MUST HAVE

    • At least one year working as a caregiver
    • Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willing to obtain certification
    • Home Care Aide (HCA) certification, or willing to obtain certification

    IF HIRED

    • Starting March 1, 2022 MUST show proof of COVID vaccination and booster, exemptions are considered.
