    Job Description

    • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Basic understanding of web handling, tension control, winding & steering
    • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
    • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
    • This position may require access to export controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

     

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

     

    • Ten (10) or more years of experience of manufacturing processes, especially in the metals industry
    • Understand process control techniques - Project engineering / management / implementation.
    • Experience with reliability techniques, including measurement, statistical control, capability and maintainability.
    • Mechanical limitations of equipment.
    • Experience leading, managing, and executing projects, including design, installation, and commissioning.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, using both theoretical and practical methods to achieve improvements or correct identified problems.
    • Ability to oversee the activities of craft persons involved in the implementation of engineered solutions.
    • Ability to initiate and maintain an on-going dialog with installers to identify issues, clarify requirements, and facilitate use of safe work practices.
    • Strong oral and written communications, and a desire to coordinate and/or lead the activities of other members of a team.
    • Work effectively in a high-performance team environment and with cross functional teams.
