Job Description
CONTROLLER /ADMIN DEPT MANAGER Seasoned person with years of experience managing admin functions of mid-sized, upscale CPA firm. Proactive attitude, ability to direct and inspire others, proven leadership skills & ability to collaborate required. Needs to be able to anticipate needs of accountants and clients of firm, as well as Admin Team and firm owners. Reports directly to partners.
Duties include:
*Direct supervision of administrative staff
*Supervises all accounting functions
*Human resources
*Facilities management
*Works with partners as a key person of the leadership team to strategically plan and execute initiatives, policies and procedures of the Firm.
*Act as firm role model for amazing client service
*Perform other duties, as assigned, such as administrative support during busy season
*Works directly with Managing Partner
Qualifications and Experience:
*Minimum 3-4 years related work experience as an office manager at a CPA or financial firm *Extremely comfortable with technology and a modern work environment. *Knowledge of CPA firm tax and accounting software a plus *Well organized and process oriented *Excellent communicator both verbal and written Please fax resume to (949) 453-1523 or email to ddodson@maxwellcompany.com.
