POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a multi-craft maintenance technician for 2 nd and 3 rd shift mission is to ensure that production equipment functions properly and is available when needed through continuous improvement, predictive maintenance, quick troubleshooting and repair activities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, REQUIRED SKILLS:
High school degree or equivalent
Minimum 3 years in industrial Maintenance
Electrical and mechanical with PLC experience
Good math and measurement skills
Independent & self-motivated
Good problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills
Understanding of company health, safety, and environmental policies
RESPONSIBILITY:
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment and machine components.
Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.
Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment, using standard and specialized hand/power tools (pipe threader, press, welder, cutting torch, machining, etc.).
Recognizes potential problems and addresses them before they can hinder production or safety
Exhibits a positive attitude and motivates others
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders numerous times during shift
Ability to stand and walk up to 12 hours per day
Ability to wear PPE, including, but not limited to, a respirator, hard hat, safety glasses and uniform, for up to 12 hours per day, if necessary
Capable of lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Must be available to work extended hours for planned and unplanned breakdowns, as needed
Must be available “on call” to work in place of absent employees
