MANUFACTURING TEST DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

THIS POSITION REQUIRES US CITIZENSHIP AND THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A DOD CLEARANCE.
As part of the new product development team, the MANUFACTURING TEST DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER will (among other things) be responsible for the creation of test design documents, test proposals, and project timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design and develop Test fixtures requirements. Managing and work with 3rd party fixture supplier to complete the hardware
· Provide DFM/DFT to development team on new product design. Participate on all stages of schematic review with testability input
· Active participant of critical releases
· Supporting CM on production yields, and training CM on NPI test program
· Investigating production yield issues and product returns to determine root cause and implement corrective actions
· Cost reduction efforts such as yield improvement, test time reduction and test elimination
· Crafting trend charts on key parameters for each product line
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with 5+ years of experience in Electrical / Computer Engineering
· Demonstrated experience developing test scripts in either Labview or other production test software
· Ability to work effectively and thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment
· Strong communications, with proven analytical, diagnostic and presentation skills
· Ability to effectively use spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic and protocol analyzers, and other standard electronics lab equipment
· Ability to document techniques and algorithms for implementation by others
· Prior experience with the design and analysis of analog and digital circuits desired as is experience with RF, wireless technologies, C++, python or other scripting languages
