Job Description
ROLE: OFFICE MANAGER/HR SPECIALIST
LOCATION: REMOTE/HYBRID (PALO ALTO, CA)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as a strategic liaison with CEO and COO related to HR and office management. Keeping them properly informed
- Implement and maintain records/procedures/office administrative systems
- Manage daily administrative functions of HR department (e.g., benefits, hiring, terminations, payroll)
- Ensures compliance with company HR policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and goals
- Responsible for pre employment communication, on boarding, and continued support for new hires to employee exit
- Manages inventory of office supplies, paperwork, equipment, and company promo items
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned by Management
- Set up conference calls and take meeting minutes (e.g., all hands or town hall meetings)
- Coordinate travel (air and hotel accommodations) - post Covid
- Some travel is required
- Reconcile expense reports
IDEAL CANDIDATE (LIST QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED)
- College Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Accounts Payable and Purchasing experience a plus
- Skilled in MS Office and G Suite Tools
- Experience in Zoom, Slack, Gusto, Bill.com is a plus
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly organized
- Flexible with a CAN DO attitude
- Understand the level of security, integrity and confidentiality of data (HR and Legal)
- Office relocation experience
- Able to be in office at least 3 days a week once we have an office
