Job Description

This internship will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to learn and grow as part of an effective fundraising team. This is a multi-faceted position that will encompass research, event planning, social media, story-telling, and drafting foundation proposals. The Development Director will work with the incumbent to identify any specific areas of interest and, together, will design a project to build skill sets in that field.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with grants research and grant writing as needed

• Draft reports, proposals, and donor appeals.

• Assist with planning donor events and other activities (e.g., fundraiser happy hours)

• Support special events including managing registration lists and event check-in operations

• Draft content for the monthly e-newsletter, website, and social media.

• Interview staff and program participants to develop compelling testimonials and stories that can be used in various media

• Other duties as assigned.
