    Product Testing Engineer

     

    Overview:

This position plays a key role in testing our new and existing products to industry standards and customer specifications while compiling testing data and media that will help develop, support, and promote McCue’s products.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop innovative, industry-leading test procedures and plans to prove the performance of McCue products
    • Continually improve our test methods and procedures to ensure our products are best-in-class and have data to prove it
    •  Ensure company, sales force, and customers are well-educated on proper test methods, how we test our products and our product ratings
    • Serve as an engineering resource to our customers as well as our own sales and operations teams when questions of performance and testing arise
    • Maintaining the McCue Innovation Center
    • Using a clear and dynamic test plan, execute product development and marketing testing with clear timelines, accountability, and goals.
    • Develop product design improvements based on the outcome of tests.
    • Document all tests in a thorough report supported by photos, videos, data, and measurements
    • Build and test prototypes for product evaluation and to determine if designs are sound before investing tooling dollars.
    •  Aid in development of testing training programs to ensure our customer-facing employees are equipped with knowledge to support our customers.
    • Work with the sales team to setup live tests as a strategic sales tool.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in Solid Works is preferred.
    • Experienced in creating technical engineering drawings.
    • Mechanical / Construction Experience
    • Experience in a shop environment
    • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
    • Strong problem-solving ability. Strong communication skills
    • Ability to be a contributing member to a highly dynamic and creative design team.
