    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our unique real estate/mortgage brokerage. As a Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our in-house clients with their mortgage loan needs while providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess an active DRE salesperson, or broker, license as well MLO license. McDermott Realty Group operates a 20+ agent real estate team with company and agent-supplied buyer leads (over 100/month) that feed into our mortgage operation. This system provides our LOs with a steady flow of prospective buyer leads in need of mortgage assistance prior to beginning their home search. You would work alongside our team of agents (some newer and many experienced) in cultivating new business using our systems which, for those willing to do the work, will result in a steady income stream in today's challenging market. Must possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing and be comfortable working in a team environment. Compensation varies depending on experience level and we are willing to work with new loan officers. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referral partners to generate mortgage loan leads • Conduct financial analysis to determine loan eligibility and provide suitable loan options to clients • Collect and review necessary documentation from borrowers to ensure accuracy and completeness • Guide clients through the loan application process (explaining terms, conditions, and requirements) • Ensure smooth and timely loan closings for clients • Stay current with industry regulations and market trends to provide accurate and reliable information • Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries and concerns in a professional manner Qualifications: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply as well. • Active DRE licensing and MLO license are mandatory • Knowledge of mortgage products, loan origination processes and industry regulations • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Proficient in relevant software applications and mortgage loan origination systems Compensation: $100,000
