    Job Description

    UKRAINE RECOVERY is an international charity organization dedicated to aiding the people of Ukraine during the ongoing invasion. We work with our Ukraine-based team and a network of local partners to provide food, supplies, housing, and other humanitarian needs to Ukrainian civilians, businesses, and displaced refugees.

    UKRAINE RECOVERY is spearheaded by MCDONALD PAPER, an American restaurant supply and distribution company operating out of New York City since 1994. Our Ukrainian subsidiary PROMASTER UA has been operating out of Kyiv since 2006. It employs over 60 people and has outposts in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Lviv. Promaster UA has been the backbone of our Ukraine Recovery operations on the ground.

    UKRAINE RECOVERY also partners with Ukrainian technological, construction, and manufacturing companies.

    UKRAINE RECOVERY seeks a mission- and results-driven OUTREACH COORDINATOR TO spread fundraising efforts.

    The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of fundraising principles, with at least two years of fundraising experience preferred. They must have strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and solid writing and editing skills.

    Candidates must have excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and demonstrated ability to successfully work with volunteers.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    THE OUTREACH COORDINATOR will play a key role in engaging the philanthropic community in supporting the mission of Ukraine Recovery.

    Regular meetings with prospective donors, and continually engaging current donors. Research prospective donors for the purposes of discovery, engagement, and solicitation through personalized outreach via phone, email, social media, and virtual and in-person meetings. Create and implement strategies to gain strong participation in annual donations from the portfolio, and build strategies for moving donors to higher fund levels while identifying and qualifying prospects for the major gift prospect pool.

    Attain or exceed the agreed-upon level of activity each month, i.e., number of visits, meaningful contacts, correspondence, etc.

    QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

    · Bachelor’s Degree

    · Higher education and/or prior fundraising experience a plus

    · Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

    · Proficiency in the use of computers and databases, with Microsoft Office Suite

    · Successful project management experience with proven ability to work independently

    · Ability to attend/work evening and weekend events

    · Become proficient with all aspects of donor research tools

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    This is a full-time, position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Evening and weekend work can be required depending on needs.

    OTHER DUTIES

    The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
