McDonald's Treasury seeks to drive business growth and enhance stakeholder value by providing world-class global financial leadership and expertise to the McDonald’s System. Guided by McDonald’s Values, the Treasury team works as trusted business partners to protect and build the McDonald’s brand by maximizing System access to capital and liquidity, safeguard Company assets, managing financial risk and providing the business with financial counsel, education and expertise to make informed decisions.

About the Team

The Global System Finance team is responsible for ensuring that Franchisees have access to capital to support McDonald’s strategic initiatives and mitigate supply chain financial risk impacts to restaurant-level profitability. The team works cross functionally across Finance, Supply Chain, Franchising, and Legal, while also having responsibility for external commercial relationships with banking partners.

Within Global System Finance, the Franchisee Finance Team will work closely with the Markets and Banks to ensure system access to capital to support the Company’s strategic growth initiatives. The Franchisee Finance team will promote system financial health and discipline and partner with the Markets on the execution of strategic growth initiatives. This role will report to the Manager of Global System Finance – Franchisee Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reporting for the Global System Finance Team
• Supporting the development of standard global reporting
• Evaluating transactions for selective use of Company-supported financing programs
• Understanding and communicating lender underwriting criteria to business partners
• Maintaining policies and standard loan documents

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field
• 2+ years of finance, treasury, or banking related experience
• High level of curiosity with strong business acumen
• Strong interpersonal and people leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to use data to influence decision making through excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in an easily understandable way
• Strong project management capabilities to manage multiple project streams and complexity
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills with comfort and ability to develop clear, concise, and compelling executive-ready communications to various audience groups with limited guidance
