    Job Description

    This opportunity is part of the **McDonald’s Customer Experience, Product & Design **team where our vision is to develop digital customer experiences that delight our customers and enable our crews to operate our restaurants reliably and effectively.

    The Associate Product Manager, Content & Assets is responsible for partnering cross-functionally to identify, define and deploy new features for the content management system (CMS) of mcdonalds.com. They operate within the triad construct and report to the Product Manager, Web Channel, and are accountable for identifying customer problems and working alongside the engineering squads to drive continuous improvements to the CMS. They partner closely with content authors in our markets around the globe, as well as product and tech leads for our digital channels to identify cross-team dependencies.

    Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

    • Participate in squad ceremonies for their product domain and liaise with third-party engineering teams to map dependencies, align requirements, and define shared implementation details
    • Partner with TL (in a Product triad) to participate in the entire lifecycle of the backlog grooming process
    • Partner with leadership, marketing, operations, legal, analytics, engineering, and design teams to define improvement opportunities in the form of epics and stories
    • Thoroughly understand customer needs and anticipate customer demands to develop engaging, best-in-class digital experience for the global websites.
    • Ruthlessly prioritize epics and stories within the backlog to deliver the highest value features first and make calculated trade-offs where necessary
    • Accountable for the product roadmap and communication to stakeholders
    • Analyze customer insights, data and competitive industry standards to identify areas of opportunity
    • Subject matter expert who brings a strong perspective on Web and understand its role within the broader customer experience
    • Maintain documentation standards for
    • Partner with marketing and strategy teams to leverage vendor capabilities for content and digital asset management
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years experience working in a software development environment as product manager
    • Software development experience, with knowledge of developer workflows, processes, and tools
    • Experience partnering with stakeholders across an at-scale, complex, global matrixed org setup a plus
    • Experience in Agile Development, application of Agile techniques and delivery practices
    • Communication skills with ability to explain complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
