    Job Description

    The Commercial Product & Platform vision develops global technology products and platforms that delight our customers and enable our crews to operate our restaurants reliably and effectively.

    The Manager, Test Execution and Automation role within the Global Restaurant Technology Team reports to the Sr. Manager Release Validation! This role will accelerate integration of software solutions into all global markets by defining the best test strategy in our CI/CD format to ensure most robust and error free software solutions for our crew members. Accounting for the different configuration permutations in each market, the test execution will ensure all markets are covered and considerations such as “What percent should be automated testing versus manual testing?”, “How can we continuously improve the testing of POS software via advanced measurements/KPI’s”, and “Which test environments (physical, virtual, cloud) are best for most accurate testing?”

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology leader to help shape the transformation of this team by doing the following:

    • Define and maintain integrated test coverage and environments to minimize defect leakage to markets
    • Rationalize test cases between global and markets to minimize duplication, owner of the Common Test Library (Single source) between Product and Markets
    • Establish and maintain the test suite and repository for all integrated, regression and performance test cases.
    • Conduct risk analysis to determine the most efficient test strategy for a particular release.
    • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure, monitor, and improve the efficiency of the release validation function.
    • Communicate vision and strategy to a team and business partners through both strong written and oral communications
    • Define the scope of testing within the context of each release.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience
    • Experience with Agile project management methods and terminology
    • Experience with Agile CI_CD automation
    • Experience with Agile branch strategy
    • Experience with Test strategy, automation, and execution
    • 2+ years of experience in technology management, leading teams in functional, cross-functional, or matrixed organization
    • Strong experience in software testing
    • Strong experience leading quality testing strategies and teams and initiatives of scale at global companies
    • Strong experience in quality engineering with a focus on testing automation, device virtualization, lean processes, metrics-driven feedback mechanisms and groundbreaking shift-left technologies.
    • Has experience driving operations excellence and quality improvements across multiple support sites.
    • Strong analytical and data-driven skills, with experience distilling large data sets to actionable insights
    • Know how to present sophisticated information clearly and concisely with strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
    • Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
