DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The Real Estate Center of Excellence “COE”, is the team that's responsible for acquiring real estate for new or relocated McDonald’s restaurants. This team collaborates with the Finance Department, Legal Department, Field Construction Departments, Analytics Department, Construction COE and individual Field Offices to make new stores happen. Members of this team are experienced in real estate analysis, trade area analysis, planning, real estate development and contract negotiations. In addition, members of this team have to be strategic, lead outside vendors and have an above average working knowledge of construction, site planning and financial analysis. McDonald’s USA is counting on this team to develop 120+ new restaurants a year. Our team strives to be the best in class real estate team for the restaurant industry.
