    INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW

As part of our McFamily, you will have the opportunity to learn about our business from both a corporate and restaurant level. Over the summer, you will have the opportunity to participate in our Executive Speaker Series to hear from our top leaders around the business, Lunch and Learns to showcase the unique departments we have at McDonald’s like Restaurant Architecture, Happy Meal Team, and Ronald McDonald House Charities, our eight Employee Business Networks, and Developmental Training Sessions. You will work on value-add projects and be able to hone in on your presentation skills. We believe that we are #BetterTogether, so we value the power of networking at McDonald’s. We help encourage networking by setting up Peer Lunches, Social Activities, and 1:1 networking opportunities with leaders from the business. Our internship is best for rising seniors who thrive in fast-paced environments and love a challenge!

    DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

At McDonald’s we are dedicated to sustainability, from the field to the restaurant. From ambitious recycling initiatives and balanced sourcing efforts, to our partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities, we are constantly improving. We will do this through actions to drive responsible business growth, investments to foster community, values-based advocacy, and compelling communications that matter to our customers, our System and our global partners. Interns supporting this team will work within the Nature and Climate sub-team. The Nature and Climate team involved work close in partnership with our Global Supply Chain and other branches of the Global Impact team and other teams across the business around the world.

    Market Sustainability

The US Supply Chain Sustainability team sits within the U.S. Market to support our Global Impact goals and commitments in a way that aligns with our strategic sourcing priorities. In U.S. Supply Chain Sustainability, we work closely with our commercial and sustainability colleagues in the U.S. and around the globe to tackle pressing challenges, like the risks our business faces from climate change and the opportunities to positively impact our communities where we source and where we serve. This intern will interact with the U.S. Supply Chain Management team, Global Market Sustainability teams, and the Global Impact team, as well as McDonald’s Suppliers.
