    Job Description

    Global Finance Modernization (GF Mod) is a multi-year transformation to enable Global Finance to achieve its vision of being a strategic advisor to the business where Finance is shaping and leading critical strategic initiatives across the enterprise, driving growth, and creating enterprise value. This program focuses on all aspects of Finance, including transformation across our people, processes, operating model, and technology. GF Mod will improve the employee experience and allow Finance to deliver a more seamless and consistent experience to its customers.

    Following a hybrid schedule out of our global headquarters in Chicago (USA), the Manager, Change Management will play a pivotal role in enabling new ways of working, driving the successful implementation of a Finance technology system, and informing process improvements across the Global Finance team. This person will report to the Change Management Lead.

    In this role, candidates will be responsible for executing effective change management strategies, plans, and activities. They will help enable the finance processes in adherence with the overall change, communications, and training strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of change management, strong project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate to employees at all levels and cultures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage change for a high-priority Finance process that will heavily impact employees and McDonald’s restaurants. This change is inclusive of building, planning, executing, and tracking the change plan milestones such as:
      • Stakeholder engagement
      • Change impact assessment
      • Organizational readiness analysis
      • Post implementation support & reinforcement
      • Lessons learned
    • Conduct change readiness activities to ensure cross-market collaboration as part of the design phase
    • Develop employees’ and franchise’s understanding and acceptance of impacts on specific job roles, policies, technology impacts, and business practices
    • Provide project management support including planning, tracking of key activities, ensuring timely delivery, and providing regular status reporting to program stakeholders and leadership
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in change management, human resources or a related field
    • Strong understanding of change management principles with proven, practical application
    • Excellent presentation and communication (oral and written) skills
    • Proven ability to execute on strategy with a ‘roll up your sleeves’ type approach
    • Basic understanding of Finance processes and capabilities is preferred
    • Experience or exposure in driving change activities for finance transformation initiatives is preferred
    • Flexibility to travel as needed to support design & implementation efforts
