(THIS ROLE IS BASED REMOTELY, AND CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE WITHIN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE)
The Field People Manager ensures the market people strategy is consistent with the needs of the business. Builds strong relationships and consults with market leadership to ensure people strategies and initiatives are aligned with and drive a high-performance people focused culture. Shares the responsibility of orchestrating key people initiatives across the market as needed. Plays a lead role in protecting the brand, consultant to Owner/Operators and provides staff HR support. Key Customers include the Field Office Officers and department head team, Field Office Leadership Council, Field Office Staff and Owner/Operators.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Advise business on enterprise goals related to people strategy
• Educate leaders & Employees on HR programs, initiatives, and tools
• Collect business requirements from business leaders as needed
• Orchestrate people aspect of field office meetings
• Lead local market and people teams
• Identify and address local impacts to the brand Develop local workforce forecasts and plan
• Lead execution of the McDonald’s talent management process within the market
• Lead and execute regional selection and on-boarding processes.
• Oversee succession management plan execution and maintenance
• Identify succession gaps
• Lead local talent roundtables to determine potential/readiness, succession (below director)
• Create succession focused development plans (for inclusion to individual's overall plan)
• Support Co-Op Operator Leadership teams, in the delivery of the National People Strategy and Field Office People Plan.
• Provide optional resources to O/O teams and O/O leads to support National People Strategy and Regional People Plan where appropriate.
Qualifications
Must be fully vaccinated (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) for COVID-19 and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Being able to lead teams from a remote setting and open to extensive travel
