Job Description

McDonnell and Associates, P.A. is currently seeking Attorneys that are highly motivated, hard-working, and able to work on tight deadlines while possessing a keen attention to detail. The Title Attorney position entails the review, analysis, and preparation of a myriad of documents and instruments associated with various real estate transactions. Dual licensed in GA/SC is a plus!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review title searches
• Prepare title certifications and title opinions, and Deeds
• Prepare Trust instruments, corporate resolutions, Promissory Notes, Mortgages, Easements
• Review real estate contracts
• Review and draft easements
• Conduct closings for all transactions types
• Review the disbursement and recording post-closing

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited Law School
• South Carolina Bar License in Good Standing
• Notary Public
• Preferred experience in reviewing title, drafting real estate documents, and experience conducting closings
