Position is 80% recruiting and 20% HR.
RECRUITING RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the complete recruitment life-cycle.
• Conduct interviews in-person, by telephone, or Skype.
• Complete reference checks.
• Negotiate employment offers.
• Manage your job requirements load so that your team and managers see your progress. We want to help you be successful well in advance of any bumps in the road.
• Foster long-term relationships with candidates.
• Review and understand technical job requirement requirements.
• Review applicants to verify if position requirements are met.
• Format resumes meeting client expectations.
• Research new technologies.
• Create detailed job descriptions.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases (e.g. Smart recruiters).
• Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search).
• Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes.
• Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities.
• Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured and walk-in, onsite interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions).
• Recommend best practice solutions based on past experience, research, and visionary thinking.
• Ensure high-quality candidates by following the McFadyen Way for Talent Acquisition.
• Actively participate in new recruiting efforts and help us think of innovative solutions to hiring the best talent.
• Effectively present the management team the candidates you source in weekly meetings.
• Build and manage relations with all internal and external stakeholders to provide proactive exceptional customer service and ensure a positive image and awareness of the company is promoted at all times.
• Locate, establish, and qualify passive candidates outside the Internet Job Boards.
• Keep abreast of market intelligence and industry trends (e.g. new technology, recruitment metrics, and legislative changes).
• Support your team and let them know when you need assistance.
• Experience in hiring for eCommerce and retail domain.
• Exposure to recruitment for ecommerce platforms like Oracle ATG, Magento, Shopify, SAP Hybris, Salesforce commerce, Endeca, Oracle Commerce Cloud etc.
• Exposure to recruitment for UI technologies stack Bootstrap, React, JQuery, JavaScript etc.
HR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and maintain staff personnel records such as employee database and personal files.
• Keep track of employee certification documentation and co-ordination.
• Co-ordination of employee engagement activities.
• Co-ordination of employee training.
• Prepare and update employee attendance report and attrition analysis on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Coordinate and conduct exit interviews and other exit formalities.
• Employee counseling.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete assigned tasks with little supervision.
Qualifications
You must have recruited niche candidates for at least 4 years.
• Have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in any field. We like co-workers who can teach us something.
• Ability to collaborate and nurture positive relations with your candidate’s, managers and teammates.
