    ABOUT THE POSITION:
    Responsible for Leadership, Management, Supervision, and Coordination of Account Managers and crew personnel activities and performance towards the achievement of divisional and company goals and objectives. Provides training, education and monitoring of all Account Manager and crew activities. Responsible for the proper care, utilization, security and maintenance of all company assets under the department’s direction.

    • Represent company’s best interest in interaction and communications with customers, employees and vendors
    • Supervise and coordinate all resources to complete projects on budget and on time
    • Interpret contracts, as builts, change orders and job conditions to maximize work production and quality
    • Assigns and adjusts work procedures to meet daily demands and schedules
    • Adheres to and enforces company policies and regulations (safety, purchasing, training)
    • Administers and insures adherence to all safety rules and governmental regulations for people and equipment
    • Insures all assigned vehicles and equipment is properly utilized, maintained, secured and clean
    • Communicates and coordinates all paperwork and information flow with appropriate personnel
    • Constantly looking to improve efficiency of operations and quality of work completed
    • Work with account managers and office personnel to achieve timely completion of all revenue objectives
    • Accurate and timely reporting on progress of all key indicators
    • Inspects all project site conditions, safety inspections, quality of work and materials used
    • Involved in all aspects of snow removal procedures and implementation
    • Oversee account managers and crews, ensuring quality maintenance
    • Hire, terminate and evaluate employee strengths and weaknesses
    • Schedule maintenance and routing
    • Correct and oversee employees hours/timecards
    • Monitor labor and materials to ensure profitability daily/weekly
    • Maintain and monitor pricing of work and vendors

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    This position has direct reports with Account Managers, Crew Foremen and work crews. The Maintenance Branch Manager coordinates all personnel allocation, evaluations, motivation, discipline and recognition issues with the Maintenance division. This position will interact with upper management, other department managers, purchasing and office personnel to help achieve all corporate objectives. The Maintenance Divisional Manager must be able to communicate and interact, in a respectable manner, with jobsite superintendents and customer service representatives.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bilingual communication
    • Industry contacts with vendors, management companies, and potential employees
    • Computer skills with Word, Excel, Office
    • Management experience within the landscape industry

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5 – 10+ years experience in an ACM role managing a base book of $750k or more
    • Proven track record of successful growth of base book as well as ancillary sales
    • Solid understanding of P&L, Budgeting, Business Development, & Management
    • Successful history of team mentorship, training, and growth with past team members (ability to train others successfully)
    • Industry Certifications & Education

    Competencies:

    • Ability to achieve all weekly maintenance goals and track and obtain completed reports from Account Managers
    • Ability to communicate maintenance requirements to Account Managers and work crews
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
    • Ability to complete project reports, material purchase orders, and maintenance reports
    • Ability to speak effectively with customers, employees, vendors and other trades in English
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables in situations with limited guidance
    • Ability to interpret instructions and give direction from written, oral, scheduled or diagrammed plans
    • Ability to apply basic multiplication and divisional concepts to materials
    • Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach with arms, climb, balance heavy objects, kneel, crouch or crawl in various outdoor environments
