    Our Partner is a fast-growing, full-service landscape firm poised for their next leap forward. With a new, state-of-the-art headquarters building under construction in north Austin, they are looking for a highly motivated individual to join their Leadership Team as Finance Manager. The position will have responsibility for all aspects of accounting and financial management, reporting to and working closely with the company's President. The ideal candidate is equal parts number cruncher and business thought leader and will handle the finances for the Austin and San Antonio branches. 

     

    Qualifications:

     Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Superb organizational and time-management skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
    • Team player, personable, positive attitude, driven

       

    Preferred

    • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
    • Experience with creating financial statements
    • Proficiency with QuickBooks
    • Spanish language ability


    Responsibilities:

    • Manage all financial operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Inventory and Equipment Records
    • Support month-end and year-end close process
    • Prepare and publish monthly financial statements, providing insightful analysis of results
    • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
    • Budget and forecast preparation
    • Ensure the maintenance of all records necessary to maintain and control operations
    • Manage and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    • Additional company administration duties as necessary
    • Development of internal control policies and procedures, as well as other duties related to company administration
