    Work with a rapidly growing and well established Landscape firm. They are a privately owned green industry business leader in the Washington market. Active in both commercial and residential landscape.

    Sales Manager Role...

    As our sales leader, you will be responsible for attending industry events and networking with clients, potential clients, and other similar individuals to build a network and portfolio. A slight understanding or background in marketing is preferred. Your sole function will be bidding and estimating landscape projects and presenting them to potential customers. This is a sales role that aligns closely with a business developer.

    • Calling and working with the appropriate sales team member on completing the correct needs analysis on prospective customers throughout the city
    • Managing the development and maintenance of strong pipelines
    • Reporting and communicating customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
    • Continuously improving sales performance through feedback
    • Analyzing the territory/ market's potential, tracking sales and maintaining status reports
    • Selling landscape maintenance, design/build, and install work.

    What We'll need from you:

    • Bachelor's Degree is preferred (Horticulture or similar major)
    • 3 years sales experience, preferably in the Green Industry preferred
    • Strong knowledge of computer applications
    • Ability to create and communicate effective sales presentations both written and orally
    • Profit-Driven-ability to find ways to cut costs, improve efficiency and increase margins
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Effective problem solving skills; ability to handle adversity
    • Presentable appearance and unmatched ability to connect with people and MAKE SALES!
