McJ is looking for a charismatic and strategic brand supervisor to help lead a group of significant agency accounts within the outdoor and food/beverage categories. Digital and nontraditional channel experience are key to this role, as is an eye for detail. Succeeding in this position requires extremely sharp strategic and creative instincts, as well as keen business savvy and paid media experience.
Responsibilities:
Drive workflow across multiple teams, projects, partner agencies and clients, enabling productive collaboration
Spot roadblocks and proactively bring solutions that solve challenges and business problems
Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure projects are on schedule, stay within scope and meet the agency’s quality standards
Contribute across agency disciplines and hold other groups accountable to do their best work (this primarily includes collaborating deeply with creative teams, media strategists and producers to ideate, amplify and streamline the work)
Build meaningful relationships with key clients
Effectively and confidently balance the dual expectations and business goals of the client and agency
Co-manage a team of 1–2 people
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years of experience (with at least half at an innovative agency preferred), national brand experience required
Competence in strategy, media (paid, owned, earned), creative development, large- and small-scale production and finance
Creative problem-solving orientation and an unflappable sense of possibility are absolutely core to this role
Strong creative intuition and great relationship-building skills, both internally and with clients
Adeptness in developing persuasive points of view with appropriate tact and skillful communication
Curiosity and willingness to stay current on industry news and trends
Direct approach to hard conversations valuing straightforwardness, as well as strong listening and empathy skills that build trust
