The digital producer is responsible for the management and delivery of small- to mid-scale campaign and run-of-business digital project work such as display ads, emails and social assets, as well as providing a helping hand on larger website design/development projects. The digital producer works with other producers and the account team to ensure that the project team is poised to meet the objectives and goals of each project on time and within budget. The candidate must have 1 – 3 years of experience managing interactive projects from discovery and design to technical development and implementation. The ability to draft and manage production schedules and scope production resource and vendor requirements is a must. Experience in an agency environment is key.
As the key point of contact for the project team, the role is pivotal in the success of an engagement. Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and managing the project plan and working with discipline leads and project teams to execute on plans
Monitor day-to-day activities of the project team and ensure work is progressing as planned
Manage schedules, budgets, assets and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables and dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon
Work closely with the media team, both internal and external partners, to understand, organize and communicate to production teams any media asset requirements, as well as delivering all produced assets to the media partners
Consistently identify needs that other internal teams may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs
Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals
Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance
Manage expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service and solicit and act on client feedback
Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations
Partner with project team leads to present work
Requirements:
Bachelors degree and at least 1 year of experience in interactive production
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills
Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams
Ability to understand and document project requirements and dependencies
Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion
Display ad production experience and trafficking via third-party ad servers is required
Proficiency in email production and third-party management tools
Competencies in MS Office, Smartsheet, bug tracking and other related project management and common communications tools
Experience with design and an introductory understanding of web technologies and third-party applications and platforms
