Unlike most research firms, the McGarrah Jessee research team acts as an in-house consumer insights department partnering very closely with our clients — which gives us the advantage of really knowing our brands and their consumers. This deep insight only strengthens our expertise and allows us to make more of an impact on their business. Here, you will see insights and findings get implemented into projects such as written briefs, communication development, new business pitches, business strategy and new product positioning or product development.
Responsibilities:
Managing both qualitative and quantitative studies from start to finish, including screener development, recruiting, discussion guide/survey development, programming surveys, data analysis/synthesis and summarizing findings into a report
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Working with and managing third-party research vendors
Collaborating with Creative, Planning, Integration (Account Services) and other departments
Authoring client-facing reports and recommendations
Pitching in on desk research/POVs using both primary and secondary sources
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of applicable research experience
Experience with quantitative and qualitative research design and methodologies; quantitative (discrete choice, MaxDiff and conjoint analysis, etc.), qualitative (focus groups, ethnographies, panel management, etc.)
Proficient in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
Detail-oriented
Ability to multitask and work on several projects at once
Good personal time and project management
Curious about people
Good at storytelling
Ability to work effectively with a team and independently
Interest in branding and communication/advertising
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Moderating experience a plus
