McGarrah Jessee seeks an agile senior accountant, a problem solver who can maintain great attention to detail and efficiency within an ever-changing and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and multitasking skills as well as be a team player and naturally proactive.

Responsibilities:

Billing: Ensure clients are invoiced correctly and on time, while understanding the various types of client media and production invoicing and how to incorporate that work with the accounting software

Project management: Work with producers on expenses, estimates and finalizing projects

Payables: Process and approve media vendor invoices

Reconciliation: Keep an accurate account of a large volume of media orders and work with the team to reconcile at predetermined intervals

Monthly reporting: Update and provide monthly financials by client, to be reviewed with account leadership

Deposits: Receive and record checks and ACH payments for client invoices

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline

5–6 years of experience in an accounting role

Experience with Workamajig or other billing software

Management experience a plus

Agency, media and/or production company experience a huge plus

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel
