    McGarrah Jessee seeks an assistant media planner with 1+ years of relevant experience/education.

    We are looking for someone to assist with the development and execution of media plans for a full-service client. In this role, the assistant media planner will collaborate with agency teams and vendor partners every day to produce customized marketing solutions. This individual will work closely with the media planners, media supervisors, associate media director and media director, as well as numerous other cross-functional team members.

    Responsibilities:

    Media plan development

    Help create and maintain comprehensive media engagement plans based on multilevel client initiatives with ownership of up to five market plans

    Assist in planning video (digital, TV/cable), audio (digital, radio), OOH, events and more as needed

    Provide and analyze industry and consumer research trends, including but not limited to target audience segmentations, effective media mix, category competitive analysis, etc.

    Media plan execution & maintenance:

    Partner with buying agency to compile and issue buy specs for traditional media channels

    Update and manage flowcharts on a consistent basis

    Issue RFPs, negotiate buys, create IOs and posting/traffic instructions and create client reports

    Help facilitate and QA digital trafficking

    Track campaign KPIs and overall performance

    Assist in development and delivery of compelling client presentations

    Manage/track client approvals

    Create and maintain records of insertion orders, schedules, contracts, etc., and work to meet vendor deadlines

    Help reconcile media budgets and partner invoices, working with the invoice auditor

    Overall

    Keep internal/external teams up to date on media trends, providing formal POVs as necessary

    Customize media procedures to achieve the most efficient and effective outcomes

    Serve as a stellar brand/agency ambassador both internally and externally

    Take clear ownership of assigned tasks

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree

    1+ years of relevant experience/education

    Strong written, oral and presentation skills

    Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, even under pressure, and deliver a high-quality work product

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must

    Combination of problem solving, creativity and strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and media math proficiency

    Multimedia experience, some digital experience preferred

    Proficiency in all the necessary tools to get the job done (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, media resources/software, DCM, etc.)

    QSR/restaurant experience a plus
