WE ARE A SMALL PERSONAL INJURY LAW FIRM SEEKING A MOTIVATED LITIGATION PARALEGAL. TO BE A GOOD FIT FOR OUR FIRM, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WITH VERY LITTLE SUPERVISION AND HAVE IMPECCABLE VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

DUTIES:

• Draft Complaints, pleadings, motions, orders, notices, subpoenas, etc., in Virginia Circuit and General District Courts;
• Respond to Interrogatories and Requests for Production;
• Independently manage attorney discovery calendar to ensure all deadlines are met;
• Schedule and assist attorney with depositions, mediations, and civil trials;
• Handle all aspects of personal injury pre-litigation case management as necessary, including requesting and summarizing medical records.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience handling litigation files in Virginia Circuit Courts (any setting considered, personal injury setting preferred);
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (but not required);
• Strong computer skills, ability to learn and use legal software and all Microsoft software.
