Overview

To be the advocate for our customers and consistently meet their expectations by providing a friendly, helpful, easy and safe shopping experience. Responsible for projecting oneself in a professional manner and maintaining a neat and clean work area at all times. Responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are sacked with care and efficiency to meet company standards and all customers are offered carryout services for their purchases. Sackers are also responsible for keeping the grocery carts in the lobby full and clean for customer usage.

Responsibilities

Responsible for greeting , making eye contact and "Thanking" each customer that you service.

Responsible for delivering a friendly, helpful, easy and safe shopping experience that meets our customer's expectations.

Responsible for projecting oneself in a professional manner in accordance with our dress code.

Responsible for working in a safe manner and for maintaining a neat and clean work area at all times in accordance with our policies and procedures.

Responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are sacked with care and efficiency in accordance with company standards.

Responsible for offering carryout service to our customers.

Responsible for keeping the grocery carts in the lobby full and clean for customer usage.

Responsible for maintaining controls and security in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsible for communicating new policies or promotional programs to our customers.

Responsible for knowing the store layout and assisting customers in finding items.

Responsible for performing other related duties as assigned by management and adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualification

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Strong communication skills.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Must be reliable.

Must show a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level.

Physical Requirements

Constant standing 4-8 hour shifts.

Frequent walking, bending, twisting, and reaching.

Repetitive use of left or right hand, wrist, arm and shoulder.

Frequent lifting from waist to shoulders of up to 10 pounds.

Occasionally lifting from floor to waist of up to 36 pounds.

Occasional carrying of up to 15 pounds.

Occasional pushing and pulling of up to 40 pounds.

Ability to work in a store environment.

Limited exposure to cold and hot working conditions of less than fifteen minutes per occurrence.

Repetitive motion-grasp objects, move them from counter to sack, lift sack into grocery cart, push cart to customer's vehicle and unload merchandise into customer's vehicle.

Ability to work in a store environment.
