    The Georgia Military College Augusta Campus is part of Georgia Military College’s eight campus and seven extensions center system across the state. Established in 1879, Georgia Military Colleges is a coeducational public-independent two-year higher education institution of the State of Georgia and seeks to produce educated citizens by providing our students with a liberal arts based two-year undergraduate curriculum in an environment conducive to the holistic development of the intellect and character of our students.

     

    The Augusta campus of Georgia Military College is now hiring adjunct professors in the following discipline: Healthcare Management

    Courses are designed to meet requirements for the Bachelor in Applied Science-Healthcare Management degree.

     

    Applicant must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Healthcare Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Healthcare Administration, Health Systems Management; or a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a healthcare related field of study (i.e. Biosciences) and 18sh or 30qh of graduate or doctoral course work in business or management; or a Master’s or Doctoral degree in business or management with 18sh or 30qh of doctoral and/or graduate course work in healthcare studies.

     

    The PhD is preferred.

     

    Teaching experience is highly preferred. Applicant must be willing to teach day, evening, and/or weekend courses. Contracts are for 9 weeks (note Summer schedule is compressed to meet within 7 weeks); renewable upon availability of classes and satisfactory job performance. Adjunct contract is per course.

    Position requires additional internal training for credentialing.  Courses are part of the college’s First Year Experience program, teaching about the college, learning skills, research skills, critical thinking skills and ethics.
