    McLaren Wealth Strategies is a successful, independent wealth management office located in beautiful Ann Arbor seeking a highly motivated Client Service Representative to help our operations team perform a variety of operational & service activities for our clients and business. We currently serve over three hundred families and oversee investment management of $375M+ in client assets.

    Our office is close-knit and supportive, giving the right candidate the chance to work alongside people who are passionate about serving our clients, team members and our community. We are willing to train a motivated candidate who fits with our team, regardless of prior qualifications.

    WE ENVISION THIS TO BE A PART TIME ROLE WITH OWNERSHIP OVER SPECIFIC PROCESS WITHIN THE BUSINESS, WHICH COULD BE DONE ON A FLEXIBLE TIME SCHEDULE THROUGHOUT THE WEEK IN 15-20 HOURS. WE EXPECT THE ROLE WOULD BE A COMBINATION OF IN-PERSON AT OUR ANN ARBOR OFFICE AND REMOTE. OUR EMPHASIS IS ON RESULTS, NOT PUNCHING THE CLOCK.

    (NOTE – DURING COVID, WE CONTINUE TO OPERATE REMOTELY AND WILL NOT REQUIRE ANY PHYSICAL PRESENCE DURING THAT TIME)

    THESE PROCESSES AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

    1. Ownership over our client and office scheduling processes. This includes initial invites, document requests and organization, and follow-up
    2. Ownership over our annual and semi-annual and quarterly meeting prep process
    3. Ownership over new client and prospect onboarding process
    4. Ownership over marketing compliance approval process through Raymond James
    5. Several regular business intelligence reports
    6. Assisting other office staff in client form preparation, submission, and follow-up

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • College graduate preferred, but not required
    • Strong initiative and willingness to take on new projects + learn new skills
    • Pleasant, professional demeanor
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects, client needs, and office procedures
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. We operate “in the cloud.”
    • Ability to become proficient with other software tools systems

    Compensation commensurate with skills, beginning at $25/hour. A SIMPLE IRA retirement plan is offered. This position has potential to transition to a full-time role in time (if you’re interested).
