Job Description

Our Client is seeking an Information Technology Technical Writer III focused on supporting the Enterprise Marketing Team. The ideal candidate must have outstanding communication and presentation skills. This role supports an IT team supporting a Marketing Technology team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Researches prepare and edit complex technical documents
• Ensures documents meet editorial and customer specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style. Interfaces with writers, illustrators, word processors, and subject matter specialized in coordinating and preparing the edited draft
• Participates in the publishing of formatted documentation in various media
• Maintains current knowledge of the relevant technical subject matter as assigned. Participates as a member of the project team
• Tracks project documentation through creation, approval, publication, and update lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS:

• CANDIDATE MUST HAVE 5-10 YEARS OF BUSINESS OR TECHNICAL WRITING EXPERIENCE AND WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF MULTIPLE SOFTWARE AND GRAPHICS PACKAGES.
• EXPERIENCE IN THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE
• MUST HAVE BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN JOURNALISM, TECHNICAL WRITING, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, OR ANOTHER RELATED FIELD. OR EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE
• CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EAD, GC HOLDER, OR US CITIZEN
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills and excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to create clean, quality content without the benefit of double-reading. Working with stakeholders to understand and address their concerns within the documents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A portfolio of writing samples encouraged
